Western Area Career
Technology Center

The Western Area Career and Technology Center (WACTC) provides High School students with the opportunity to explore a variety of trade and service careers in an educational setting. Students who enroll at WACTC complete the core curriculum at Avella that is required for graduation. The remaining portion of the day is scheduled at the vocational / technical school where students may elect to study any of the available vocations and programs.

Transportation to the Western Area Career and Technology Center is provided by the Avella Area School District. The High School Guidance Counselor can provide more information about WACTC and arrange visits for interested students.
